Precast Engineer – Civil/Structural
Fisher Associates is hiring a full‑time Precast Engineer to design and engineer high‑quality precast concrete components for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. You’ll ensure every element meets structural codes, safety standards, and project specifications—delivering safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions.
Responsibilities- Execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost‑effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
- Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards.
- Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
- Support cost estimation for materials.
- Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
Master’s preferred. - 0–5 years minimum of transportation/structural engineering experience.
- Concrete design engineering course or design experience preferred.
- EIT or ability to obtain it.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D.

$72,000–$85,000 annually (actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications/education, and other factors).
