In this position, you’ll lead transformative infrastructure projects that connect communities and drive innovation across both general aviation and commercial airports.

• Lead civil engineering design for aviation projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and technical quality to ensure compliance with client expectations and regulatory standards (FAA, UFC, ICAO).
• Mentor and oversee junior engineers and technical staff, delegating tasks and reviewing deliverables.
• Develop grading plans, earthwork balancing, and site layout design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including electrical, drainage, structural, etc.—and integrate information into civil design.
• Understand the full project process from data collection to bidding and initiate the next step of the process.
• Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field observations.
• Participate in contract bidding and administration processes.
• Champion quality, safety, and sustainability in all aspects of project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE or equivalent).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on aviation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Avi Plan.
• Strong understanding of FAA design standards and airport operations.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

• Prior work on Florida-based airport projects.
• Proficiency in hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g., Storm
  
  CAD, HEC‑RAN).
