We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience to lead civil engineering projects in our Poughkeepsie, NY office. The role requires a personable leader who can manage engineering teams, maintain project schedules, secure new business opportunities, and uphold high engineering standards.

• Work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Develop detailed site plans from concept through construction.
• Design storm water, water and wastewater, roadway, and parking systems, including construction detailing and specifications.
• Prepare inventory assessments, analyses, and reports.
• Develop professional services proposals.
• Manage client relationships and pursue new client development.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Create technical approaches to projects and present at public engagements.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience with a proven record in a professional consulting environment.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong technical writing, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SEQRA and municipal site plan approval processes.
• Solid CAD skills, particularly with Civil 3D (plus).

$130,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education and location.
