Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, proper configuration management, and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes in plans and specifications.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with codes or regulations.
• Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, outage support, and coverage as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear).
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.

• Engineer in training certification
• Good grasp of techniques and understanding of the fundamental functions performed by the group

Expected Salary Range

• Entry-Level - $85,000
• Mid-Level - $90,000 - $110,000
• Senior Level - $117,000 - $143,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including bonus and 401(k).
