Primary Purpose Of PositionResponsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
- Provide complete task management of engineering issues.
- Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, proper configuration management, and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes in plans and specifications.
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
- Recommend equipment, concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or comply with codes or regulations.
- Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, outage support, and coverage as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear).
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing as required.
- Engineer in training certification
- Good grasp of techniques and understanding of the fundamental functions performed by the group
Expected Salary Range
- Entry-Level - $85,000
- Mid-Level - $90,000 - $110,000
- Senior Level - $117,000 - $143,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including bonus and 401(k).
