Position: Equipment Reliability Coordinator

Location: Palisades Energy, Covert, MI

Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Equipment Reliability Coordinator Manager in its Engineering department at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant. Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after early decommissioning. Job Summary

Provides focused coordination of activities and information necessary for high equipment reliability, including identification, decision making, prioritization, and resource allocation. Reinforces the Zero Tolerance for unanticipated equipment failures with management and staff, fostering understanding of responsibilities at all levels. Focuses on improving plant operations and maintenance, trend analysis of failures, and ensuring reliability standards.

Key Duties

Works with management to set priorities, allocate resources, and promote the Zero Tolerance Philosophy. Facilitates Plant Health Committee Meetings.

Coordinates prioritization of reliability issues and updates the Site Integrated Planning Database.

Develops and maintains the Unit Commitment List and contributes to the MPRC Subcommittee.

Implements the Top Ten Equipment Reliability Process.

Reviews past operating cycle data to address common causes and prevent recurrence. Works with management to improve reliability.

Maintains equipment reliability indicators, reports performance data, and participates in industry forums.

Performs field observations, reinforces standards, and may serve as First Line Supervisor or support outage teams. Attends necessary training and maintains qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrated at the Coordinator/Engineer/Technical Specialist level.
