Part-Time FAA Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Farmingdale State College.

- Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.
- Check for corrosion, distortion, and invisible cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail, using inspection equipment.
- Clean, refuel, and change oil in line service aircraft.
- Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.
- Disassemble engines, and inspect parts such as cylinders for corrosion, wear, warping, cracks, and leaks.
- Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
- Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces.
- MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Airframe and Powerplant License. Flexible hours and weekend work. - ADDITIONAL

Salary: $22/hour, may increase commensurate with experience. This is a part-time position.
