MEP Project Manager; HVAC & Electrical

Nordes US Corporation is a dynamic construction management and maintenance company, part of a Spanish holding group founded in 1997. We specialize in HVAC maintenance, small refurbishments, across the United States. As we expand into larger, more technically demanding projects, we are seeking a highly motivated MEP Project Manager to oversee HVAC and electrical installations.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the MEP aspects of the project, including HVAC and electrical installations.
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, construction drawings, and project tracking spreadsheets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining project momentum.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and financial performance.
• Manage the design, development, and coordination of construction documents, including procurement of specialty vendors and professional services.
• Lead the permitting process from initial approvals to final permit approval.
• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, including bids, award processes, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain detailed project logs and tracking milestones.
• Ensure all project documents are properly stored and tracked on a timely basis.
• Interface with internal teams to ensure accuracy in defining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Understand and interpret project documents, including construction drawings, specifications, GC contracts, purchase orders, and lease terms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in MEP, HVAC, or electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, including codes and regulations.
• Must be able to read construction and shop drawings.
• Proficiency in project software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with Spanish as a plus.
