Warehouse Helper - Sanitation Helper

Overview

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for duties in the facility and around the property to ensure standards are met in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Requirements as set by Baldor. A clean and sanitary work environment is essential to ensure a high quality and safe product is delivered consistently to our customers.

• Adhere to company values of quality, service, teamwork, respect, innovation and safety.
• Maintain high-quality sanitary conditions throughout the entire facility, including, but not limited to:
  Office spaces, Bathroom & Locker Room spaces, Breakrooms, Inside and outside of warehouse.
• Perform duties as assigned by Facilities Supervisor.
• Clean spills and accidents in a timely manner.
• Safely operate equipment and machines as needed, including, but not limited to:
  Pallet jack, Power Washer, Power Vacuum, Floor Scrubber.
• Adherence to cleaning schedule in addition to being proactive on unscheduled sanitation needs.
• Follow the Food Safety, Sanitation operating procedures & Food quality plans to ensure compliance with GMP standards and any internal and 3rd party audits.

• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food safety and safety awareness, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to physically lift, push, pull and stand for long periods of time without reasonable accommodations.
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.

• High School/Equivalent Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Warehouse, Distribution, or Operations industries.
• Facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.

• Basic computer skills – Tablet
• Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Ability to lift over 50lbs and stand and maintain activity for long periods of time without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer warehouse environment.
