York Prep School is seeking an experienced Math Teacher to join our team. The teacher will be responsible for teaching up to four sections of Math in grades 6–12, with a focus on high school courses, and for taking on faculty duties as assigned. The Math Teacher will report to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for STEAM and will collaborate with the Department Chair as needed.

This is a permanent, full-time role. The expected start date is 1st September 2026 (with an expectation to attend orientation during the last week of August).

• Dedicated and collaborative Math Teacher with strong content knowledge in high school mathematics, including courses such as Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field (a master’s degree preferred).
• Experience differentiating instruction to support diverse learners, including students with language-based learning differences.
• Passionate about working with middle and high school students and helping them grow as confident mathematical thinkers.
• Strong classroom management, effective communication, and a commitment to best practices in teaching, including the use of educational technology and data to inform instruction.
• Collaborative, culturally responsive, and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, while also maintaining accurate student records and reports on Canvas and upholding the mission, values, and safeguarding policies of York Prep School.
