Tuesday/Thursday, 2 hours each day

SUNY Niagara has a need for a part‑time instructor to teach nursing content of Psychiatric and Endocrine in a day section of the Associate Degree Nursing Program on Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours. The instructor will also complete mandatory New York State compliance trainings. This class is face‑to‑face on SUNY Niagara’s main campus located in Sanborn, New York. Applicants must be able to attend in‑person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus.

• Help students during a designated office hour
• Attend and participate in meetings as necessary
• Complete NYS compliance trainings
• Adhere to attendance and College grading policies

Ability to navigate relationships with diverse populations, speak in front of groups, actively involve and engage students, communicate effectively with students, co‑workers, supervisors, the campus, and the external community. Must be able to develop, prepare, and present information; operate computers; and perform the physical duties of the position.

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or BSN and actively enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Current NYS License as a Registered Nurse

• Any teaching experience, preferably in a college, particularly a community college
• Psych and Endocrine experience
