The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to respectfully assist people to achieve and sustain self‑sufficiency through direct services, education, and community partnerships.

CAP is seeking a Classroom Aide for the Early Head Start Program. The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Child Development Associates credential (CDA) preferred; or
• High school diploma or GED and enrolled in a program leading to a CDA to be completed within two years; or
• Enrolled in a program leading to an associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood development.
• Experience working with pre‑school aged children.
• Reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license.

This is a full‑time, 10‑month position. Pay rate is $16.70 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, 45 weeks per year.
