Background

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Programme Support Unit and overall guidance of the Chief of Program Support Management Unit (PSMU) in HQ, the Programme Partner Management intern will play a proactive role in the promotion of programme partner management oversight by contributing to the development of self-paced learning module(s) on Programme Partner Management Policies, Procedures and Systems; and supporting the development of reports and dashboards to be used by clients, working in close collaboration wit h other units in HQ and/or Regions/Countries.
Descriptionof Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of Self-Paced Learning Module(s) on Programme Partner Management Policies, Procedures and Systems
Create Reports and Dashboards by using existing UN Women applications such as Quantum (Oracle-based), PGAMS, Assurance Module and PRISM, as well as Power BI and other similar tools.
Learning ObjectivesAs part of the assignment, the intern will learn about UN Women’s implementation modalities, specifically through Programme Partner implementation and UN Women’s capacity strengthening initiatives.

Functional Competencies- Familiarity with structural design of training content
- Familiar with applications such as CANVA
- Analytical skills
- Familiarity with use of AI tools& Innovation for Digital Learning Development and ability to verify AI outputs for accuracy, bias, and policy alignment.
- University studies in one of the following disciplines:
Educational Communication and technology, Instructional Design, Public Administration / Public Policy, International Development, Business Administration or other relevant subjects is required. - Meet one of the following:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English are required;
- Working knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
Interns who are not in receipt of financial support from other sources such as universities or other institutions will receive a stipend from UN Women to partially subsidize their basic living costs for the duration of the internship.
