Faculty Member Doctor of Psychology Program

The client is inviting applications for two tenure-track faculty positions within the clients Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.

D.). This fully accredited program follows a practitioner-scholar model, offering cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches. The client is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and personality assessment. Applicants must possess a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent, have or be eligible for a New York State psychology license, and demonstrate excellence in teaching and research, including publications and grant writing.

Successful candidates will engage actively in departmental and university committees, develop a research program with external funding that involves student participation, and supervise student practicum experiences. The role requires a strong commitment to free and open discourse as a core aspect of learning. The position is full-time, based in Brookville, New York, with a starting salary range of $98,001 to $128,000, based on experience.
