NYTech's College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Early Clinical Experiences (ECE) Coordinator at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.
Responsibilities- Manage agreements, paperwork, materials needed by the clinical sites as well as paperwork needed to be completed by students.
- Interface and coordinate with clinical sites/ preceptors that will accept yr 1 and yr 2 students for ECE.
- Track and maintain attendance records. Follow up and assign make-up sessions as needed.
- Track and organize ECE reflection assignments as well as Clinical Practice Reflections (CPR) reflection assignments.
- Serve as back-up for Exam Coordinators.
- Serve as back-up for Curriculum Coordinators.
- Orient Students and Clinical Sites/Preceptors to Early Clinical Experience Process/Expectations.
- Develop and update, as needed, Early Clinical Experience policy, practice, and procedure manuals for (1) Students and (2) Clinical Sites/Preceptors.
- Perform additional duties, as assigned.
Assign and manage schedules of students engaged in ECE with the clinical sites.
A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
Strong computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
