Salary: $20.00/Hour
Per Non Unit Rate Schedule

Report Times: 3:00 pm to5:00 pm

Civil Service Title: School Aide

Minimum Requirements:
There are no education or experience qualifications for this position.

Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Fingerprinting and background check by NYS;
A minimum of one year experience working or volunteering in an educational or childcare setting.


Position Summary/Responsibilities:
After School Club facilitators will plan and implement after school club activities with groups of up to 20 students. The activities need to be linked to academic and social emotional learning skills. Club activities need to be engaging, interactive, meet all safety criteria, and be well organized and implemented. Club facilitators will be required to take daily attendance and ensure all children are dismissed to their caregivers or late busses after each session.

Generally, club sessions are six weeks long and there are up to 4 sessions per school year.
