The Assistant Principal leads professional learning, coaches teachers through observation and feedback, and uses data to strengthen curriculum implementation and student outcomes. They collaborate closely with the Principal, Student Services Team, and families to ensure all students—particularly those with diverse learning needs—receive high-quality academic and social-emotional support.

As a culture builder and systems leader, the Assistant Principal establishes clear expectations, reinforces school-wide routines, and fosters a safe, achievement-oriented environment where both educators and scholars can thrive. • Serve as the critical instructional and cultural leader to build and grow a STEAM-focused middle school in a 6-12 college preparatory model.
• Ensure coherence and vertical alignment of curriculum, instructional practices, and academic routines across grade levels.
• Lead intellectual preparation, co-planning, and professional learning communities to strengthen rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.
• Observe classrooms regularly and provide actionable feedback to improve pedagogy, curriculum implementation, and student outcomes.
• Analyze and utilize student achievement data, assessment results, and program effectiveness to refine instruction and drive continuous improvement.
• Support teacher growth through instructional coaching, professional development (including Summer Institute), and participation in evaluation processes.
