Jounce Partners also fosters future leadership by recruiting, training, and mentoring aspiring instructional leaders, with a strong commitment to supporting BIPOC educators through its Instructional Leader Fellowship program.

Role Description

The Acceleration Partner will be instrumental in driving teacher development and improving student outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include partnering with school leaders to design and implement strategies for teacher growth, supporting instructional practices, and conducting meaningful professional development initiatives. This role requires a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to equitable education practices.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in instructional leadership, teacher development, and classroom observation
  • Strong skills in collaboration, coaching, and providing constructive feedback
  • Experience with professional development design and delivery
  • Commitment to supporting diverse educational communities and closing achievement gaps
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment
  • Relevant experience in educational leadership, teaching, or related fields
  • Experience working with underserved communities and fostering equity in education is highly desirable
  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Leadership, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees
