SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach animal science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to:

* ANSC 111x
- Introduction to Animal Science Lab

* ANSC 117/117x
- Introduction to Livestock Production and Lab

* ANSC 124/124x
- Poultry Science Production and Lab

* ANSC 212/212x
- Dairy Cattle Management and Lab

* ANSC 318/318x
- Sheep and Goat Production and Lab

* ANSC 320/320x
- Swine Production and Lab

* ANSC 418/418x
- Advanced Beef Production and Lab

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science

* Experience with livestock, dairy, or poultry production

* Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous, successful college teaching experience

* Laboratory teaching experience

* Master's degree or higher in Animal Science, Agricultural Education or similar

Additional Information:

* We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward.

* These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces

* Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar

* This position is part-time and temporary
