To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Computer Science Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree (STEM‑related field preferred), and at least 1-2+ years of lead teaching experience (computer science experience preferred), with a proven record of facilitating lab or engineering design activities and relevant curriculum creation.

• Implement inquiry-driven, interdisciplinary lessons that engage students in rigorous design thinking, experimentation, and problem‑solving across subjects.
• Build a classroom culture that fosters innovation, critical thinking, and a genuine love for discovery – where students take creative risks and collaborate joyfully.
• Demonstrate expertise in design thinking and STEM integration

• Maintain and optimize the Z Lab learning environment

• Use data, feedback, and student work to assess learning and continuously improve instruction.

The salary range for this position is between $71,000 and $114,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience teaching in a lead capacity in a school, NYS teacher certification status, and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales.
