This is a part-time, on-site Tutor role based in Staten Island, NY. The Tutor will lead private and group instruction sessions to support students' learning needs. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to various learning styles, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to ensure academic growth. The Tutor will foster a positive, supportive learning environment while inspiring students to achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in academic subjects relevant to the tutoring position
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students of different age groups
- Ability to create personalized learning plans and adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs
- Experience working with students, assessing their progress, and providing constructive feedback
- Organizational skills and commitment to maintaining a supportive learning environment
- Background in education or tutoring roles is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, a specific subject area, or related field is a plus
- Passion for education, creativity, and working with children
