We have a private school in Woodhaven, Queens that needs one or more paid interns or teachers to provide academic support for K-8 grade students. The students in one school require a total of approximately 65 sessions per 5-day week. Lessons take place in one location. For more information, please send us your resume with your name as it appears on your NY State internship or teaching certificate.
Qualifications- Candidates must hold a certificate from the Department of Education as an intern or as a teacher of students with disabilities, literacy or another relevant certificate.
- NY City's Department of Education, DOE, will clear all candidates prior to employment.
- Monthly invoices.
- Student progress reports per DOE requirements.
- Instructing students individually and in groups of up to five.
