Assistant Coach; Unpaid​/Volunteer

RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a variety of unpaid Assistant Coaches for the 2025/2026 school year.

Duties: Overall development, supervision, and promotion of the program. (Coach's Responsibilities Manual available from the Athletic Office). Uphold and reinforce Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct.

Qualifications: Must have a valid NYS certificate to teach physical education OR a valid NYS teaching certificate in an area other than physical education OR a valid Temporary Coaching License by applying online through the NYSED TEACH system. Must have current and valid CPR, First Aid, and fingerprint clearance through NYS Education.

Coaching is a yearly appointment, so ALL coaches must apply each year to be considered for each coaching position.
