This is for a Summer Work position and is not considered a BOCES ESY position.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
July 9, 2026 August 19, 2026;
Part time, plus pre and post summer requirements as needed.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:

June 2nd = Transition/Employment

June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)

June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan

SALARY RANGE: $32.33 - $52.43 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff

* Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:

1. NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired required.

2. National Certification in Orientation and Mobility preferred.

3. Applicants must commit to working the full 30-day Summer Program.

4. Attend a mandatory planning meeting on a date to be determined.

5. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

QUALIFICATIONS:
