Position: Tier I Teaching Assistant — 5.5 hours/day
Location: Pashley Elementary School
Term: Annually Appointed

Description:
The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide instructional and behavioral support to students under the direction of certified teaching staff. This position involves assisting in the delivery of instructional programs, supporting classroom management, and helping students achieve academic and social success.

• Assists teachers in the implementation of instructional programs
• Works with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Supports students with academic, behavioral, and/or social-emotional needs
• Helps maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
• Supervises students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and recess as assigned
• Assists with classroom preparation, organization, and clerical tasks
• Performs related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
