School DirectorMedical Training Institute of New York is seeking a transformational leader to serve as Director of the School. It is one of the fastest-growing schools in the region and operates across two campuses:
New York City, NY, and Orlando, FL. This full‑time regional school director will join the faculty, staff, and students, guiding the institution to new levels of achievement.

PrimaryJob Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for Medical Training Institute programs, oversee accredited programs, and ensure that curricula, instruction, assessment, research, and outreach are innovative, of the highest quality, and aligned with college and institutional strategic plans.
- Oversee School administration, including developing the schedule and staffing courses, managing the budget, overseeing staff, and ensuring efficient/effective day‑to‑day operations of the School.
- Provide leadership and effective representation and advocacy for the School at the higher education levels, including implementation of School policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Promote a healthy climate and collaborative internal and external working relationships; engage in effective, regular, and transparent communication with faculty and other stakeholders; foster effective relationships with local, state, and national educational entities.
- Facilitate faculty development and collaborative engagement in the meaningful evaluation of faculty (i.e., annual evaluations and goal setting, promotions).
- Teach one course in the School per year.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Earned MBA from an accredited college or university in one of the disciplines represented in the School or a closely related field.
- A record of success in higher education as a faculty member, having held the rank of associate professor or above.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role in higher education.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and processes.
- Experience collaborating effectively with diverse individuals, groups, and programs, including counterparts in other units.
- Ability to effectively advocate for units within the School and the School as a whole.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including frequent communication within the unit; experience encouraging productive and equitable dialogue.
- Collaborative goal‑setting and strategic planning; dispositions focused on team‑building, inclusiveness, and transparency.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (e.g., equity and justice in recruitment, hiring, and admissions; support of learning opportunities that acknowledge, draw upon, and are enriched by diversity; understanding of inequities impacting education).
- Ability to model and support effective teaching and learning in a range of formats.
- Ability to advocate for and leverage resources to support the success of the school.
- Substantial record of scholarship (e.g., peer‑reviewed publications, scholarly activity at the national level).
- Demonstrated record of managing budgets and/or securing and successfully administering internally and/or externally funded projects/programs.
- Record of successfully mentoring, developing, and/or leading a diverse group of faculty.
- Current BPSS Director/Teacher License preferred.
- Hire and retain qualified and caring staff and faculty.
- Provide guidance and formal training to all staff and faculty.
- Communicate effectively (by both written and oral methods) institutional and corporate goals/objectives to all staff, faculty, and students.
- Monitor the work of all staff and faculty regularly to ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Hold regularly scheduled weekly meetings with each direct report to gain feedback, gather ideas, assign tasks, and provide direction regarding prioritizing work.
- Attend and significantly contribute to staff/faculty meetings within the school and school director meetings at the corporate level.
