Job description

The Group Teacher manages a daycare classroom by planning lessons, assessing individual abilities, coordinating special events and training staff to follow through with necessary responsibilities. He/she works directly with children in the classroom and communicates with their parents, maintains staff records and assists the Director with maintaining compliance with regulations through the Office of Children and Family Services.

Brief Description

Candidates must have leadership, supervisory and training abilities in order to successfully manage the classroom. A college degree or credentialed program in Early Childhood Education is required.

  • CDA or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education is required*
