Overview
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.
Details- Student:
Adult - Location:
White Plains, NY - Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson format:
Hybrid:
Some classes face-to-face, others virtual
- Monday / Thursday / Friday between 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm (US, New York local time UTC
-05:00) - Lesson Frequency: twice a week
- Lesson Duration: 1 hour each class
- Current level:
Advanced - Native/other languages:
Unknown - Goal:
To be able to speak and sound like a native speaker
- Design intensive lessons to accelerate English acquisition
- Develop vocabulary and conversation skills for professional leadership
- Adapt methodology to meet the student’s advanced experience as a language learner
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, linguistics, education, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching adults
- Ability to create engaging, intensive lessons for fast progress
- Experience tailoring methodology for highly motivated, experienced language learners
