Our school is seeking a highly motivated and experienced After‑School Program Coordinator and Admissions Assistant to join our team. The After‑School Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all after‑school programs and extended care for our students. The Admissions Assistant will be responsible for the new and continuing enrollment of students at the NY campus. This is a full time, 12 month per year position.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and prior experience in a similar role. Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage admissions and enrollment for programs outside of the day school (after school, summer camp, etc.) and extended care for students.
  • Communicate with parents regarding registration, scheduling, and other after‑school program information
  • Manage payroll and P&L for after‑school program staff. Work with vendors to secure and coordinate activities and programs
  • Create and organize schedules for activities and programs
  • Manage the safety and well‑being of students during extended care hours
  • Evaluate and report on the success of after‑school programs and activities
  • Coordinate with other school departments as needed
  • Support the enrollment director with the development of programs with outside organizations and parents to generate leads resulting in enrollment.
  • Support the enrollment director in conducting tours and follow‑ups. Turn leads into enrollments.
  • Help with conducting market research and data analysis to develop strategies to ensure that the programs we offer are competitive in terms of content, price, convenience, etc.
  • Actively support marketing and social media efforts for the school
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Child Development, Marketing, PR, or related field.
  • Experience in after‑school program coordination and/or management and admissions experience.
  • Comfortable working in outreach and in a sales environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented for event management and admissions follow through
  • Superb multi‑tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin preferred but not required
  • Must be tech‑savvy to work with various software programs and systems
