Youth Leader

Overview

New Haven Ministries is seeking a caring and committed Youth Leader / Assistant Youth Pastor to support and guide our youth as they grow in faith and character. The Youth Leader plays a vital role in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for young members of the congregation. This position involves mentoring youth, organizing activities, and providing spiritual guidance aligned with Christian values.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for working with teenagers and young adults. Experience in social work, mentoring, or related fields is highly valued to support youth development and well-being effectively.

• Assisting with youth services, Bible studies, and small groups.
• Building positive, Christ-centered relationships with youth.
• Helping plan and lead youth activities, events, and outreach.
• Communicating effectively with parents and church leadership.

• A growing Christian faith and love for working with youth.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Reliability and a servant-hearted attitude.
• Previous experience with youth ministry is a plus, but not required.
