DeVry University is seeking industry professionals to teach and share knowledge with undergraduate and graduate students.

• Courses meet once or twice a week for eight weeks.
• Face‑to‑face interaction blended with technology (online discussions and assignments).
• Faculty facilitate learning by teaching courses and programs in accordance with DeVry requirements.
• Faculty develop syllabi, lesson plans, and apply teaching techniques to achieve objectives.
• All instructors participate in comprehensive faculty training and ongoing development.

• Develop and provide students with an approved DeVry syllabus following the local campus template.
• Organize, prepare, and regularly revise course materials.
• Use appropriate technology for online courses, including websites, email, and online discussions.
• Model effective oral and written communication that engages students.
• Publish course objectives, assignment/exam dates, and evaluation weight distribution.
• Ensure content and exam level correspond to course objectives.
• Demonstrate consistency and fairness in grading and provide timely feedback.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree required with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject.
• Upload unofficial transcripts (graduate level and above).
• Credentials must be awarded by an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized agency or equivalent international institution.
• Additional requirements may apply based on state licensing or accreditation.
• Subject‑matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Visiting Professor pay is based on level, credit hours taught per 8‑week session, and location. Work hours/assignments may vary. Pay ranges: $1,500–$2,700 per 8‑week session; in AZ, CA, IN, PA hourly rate of $22.00–$23.50.
