Position Summary:
The Graduate Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Katz School of Science and Health is seeking on-campus instructors with extensive industry, research, and/or faculty experience to fill adjunct faculty positions in the areas listed below. Katz School faculty take an interdisciplinary approach to research and education, fostering creativity, collaborative thinking, and a builder mindset to address today’s toughest problems. The newly established Graduate CSE Department includes programs in AI, Data Analytics and Visualization, and Cybersecurity, as well as the Katz School's Internet of Things (IoT) Lab and Security Operation Center (SOC).
Position Responsibilities:
Upcoming courses, all taught in-person on our Beren campus at 33rd and Lexington Avenue:
Experience & Educational Background:
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in the appropriate field of study; a Doctorate is preferred.
- Extensive industry, research, and/or faculty experience in the area you wish to teach; active engagement in the field.
- Demonstrated track record of excellent teaching; willingness to adapt teaching style to meet student needs; ability to participate in faculty training.
