Associate Director, MS in Accounting and MBA Advising
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director, MS in Accounting and MBA Advising. The selected candidate will lead advising and other program initiatives for the MS in Accounting (MSA) program and also advise enrolled Langone Part‑time MBA students about educational planning and processes. They will serve as the main point of contact for MSA students, faculty, and other internal and external stakeholders, providing comprehensive guidance on academic planning, degree requirements, and campus resources to support students’ personal and professional development.
Additionally, the Associate Director will hire and manage Graduate Fellows and manage the MSA program budget.
- Lead advising and other program initiatives for the MS in Accounting (MSA) program.
- Advise enrolled Langone part‑time MBA students about educational planning and processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for MSA students, faculty, and external contacts.
- Provide guidance on academic planning, degree requirements, and campus resources.
- Hire and manage Graduate Fellows.
- Manage the MSA program budget.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience in advising students, managing student services, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Experience administering services such as academic advisement, counseling, and staff supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong relationship‑building abilities.
- Project management, event management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
Annual base salary range: USD 73,000 to USD 93,000. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes incentives, bonuses, or other items.
