We’re looking for a caring and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team and help us provide exceptional care and learning experiences for our youngest learners.

What You’ll Do:- Create a warm, inclusive, and safe classroom where children feel encouraged to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build trusting relationships with children and maintain open communication with families to support each child’s individual journey
- Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to meet each child’s developmental needs and learning styles
- Observe, document, and assess children’s progress while providing regular updates to parents
- Maintain an organized, clean, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to cultivate a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (minimum 12 CORE ECE credits).
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children.
- Familiarity with early childhood learning frameworks (such as Exploration Curriculum or Units of Study).
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for early education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing personality.
- Compliance with all state and licensing requirements for this position.
- Ability to commute to the location at 600 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10011 .
- Current New York State B–2 Teaching Certification.
