Overview
NEG is recruiting a passionate Certified Early Childhood Teacher to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine interest in nurturing young minds. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives and contribute to their educational development.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, and intellectual development in young learners
- Conduct assessments to monitor students' progress
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs
- Organize and participate in educational activities and field trips
- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
- AND NYS Licensed Teacher in one of the following areas:
- Early Childhood Education (birth-grade
2) - Nursery, Kindergarten & Grades 1-6 Permanent Certificate
- Pre K, K & 1-6 Permanent Certificate
- Special Education Permanent Certificate
- Special Education Provisional Certificate
- Students with Disabilities (all grades)
- Students With Disabilities (Birth - Grade
2) - Professional Certificate
- Students with Disabilities (Birth - Grade
2) - AND
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting (2+ years)
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
