Our 2-Hour Learning approach combines AI-adaptive platforms with targeted expert teaching to accelerate reading progress. Your role: create and implement brief, focused reading workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners—then support the expansion of this model to campuses across the country.
This position is not about administrative tasks or paperwork. It involves data-informed teaching, collaboration with technology teams, and constructing a literacy framework that scales to thousands of students.

What You Will Be Doing- Conducting brief, focused reading workshops that build phonics, fluency, and comprehension capabilities
- Creating individualized motivational experiences using gamified literacy achievement milestones
- Reviewing student performance data to refine teaching methods and identify actionable trends
- Working alongside engineers to assess and improve AI-powered literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported instructional content that enables early elementary learners to reach grade-level reading proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—core academic content is delivered via AI-adaptive applications
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction
- Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting small-group reading interventions with K–2 students
- Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction patterns
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirement

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
