Part Time Volleyball Coach

Success Academy Charter Schools is hiring a Part‑Time Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach for its Brooklyn and Manhattan high schools. Practices generally occur 2‑3 times per week on weekdays from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with occasional weekend training. Teams compete in the Charter School League with matches typically held once per week (weekday or Saturday).

• Attend all practices and games.
• Plan and execute all practice and game plans.
• Provide daily oversight of practice/game travel logistics.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches.
• Manage coaching administrative duties, including attendance, roster management, game‑day operations, score reporting, and distribution/collection of uniforms.
• Demonstrate leadership, professional behavior, and effective communication with student‑athletes, parents, staff, and administrators.
• Provide regular feedback to student‑athletes on skill development and growth opportunities.
• Uphold the highest professional standards and ethical behavior in accordance with Success Academy’s mission, rules, and regulations.

• Minimum of two years of relevant coaching experience (high‑school or college playing experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of volleyball skills and strategies.

• Ability to build strong professional relationships with students‑athletes, families, and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

The stipend for the season is $6,000.00, with exact compensation based on experience and skills. Compensation Range: $65,000 – $65,000 USD.
