We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dynamic Bronx Academic and College Instructor/Bilingual to join our educational network. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing the academic experiences of students. The ideal candidate will possess university experience and be fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing them to effectively communicate with a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum that meets the educational needs of students.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, encouraging student participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and feedback, providing guidance for improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance academic programs and student services.
• Provide academic advising to students, helping them navigate their educational pathways.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Speaks proficient Spanish and/or Chinese (not required)
• Feel comfortable with providing general College and skill building guidance to students.
• Are familiar with College application formats (CUNY, Common App, SUNY App).
• Feel comfortable with providing academic assistance and tutoring (especially in basic high school level math, English and science).
• Are able to motivate high school level students.
• Have open and flexible availability.

Hourly pay is based upon relevant experience. We are providing a range as guidance.
