SUNY Niagara has a need for part‑time Medical Assisting Instructors to teach classroom and lab settings in the Nursing and Allied Health department. Classes are held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY and/or online.

Remuneration: for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester, $960 per lecture hour and $860 per lab hour.

Essential functions of this role include:

• Work with and teach a diverse student population
• Speak in front of groups of people
• Effectively communicate with students, co‑workers, supervisors and the campus community
• Develop, prepare and present information
• Operate computers
• Physically perform the duties of the position

• Bachelor’s Degree AND Current Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or AMT), certification in related Allied Health Field, or licensed RN

• Minimum 5 years work experience as MA or RN
• Master’s Degree
• Formal instruction in educational theory and techniques
• Teaching experience
