The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Educator to join our performing arts team. We are looking for culturally responsive educators who foster a lifelong love of music and inspire students to reach their highest potential through both vocal and instrumental expression.
In this multifaceted role, you will lead a balanced schedule including:
- Three days of K-5 General Music:
Introducing students to foundational rhythm, melody, and movement. - Two days of Instrumental Lessons:
Providing small-group instruction to develop technical proficiency on band instruments. - Weekly Band Ensemble:
Directing a full ensemble rehearsal to build collaborative performance skills.
We are seeking dynamic educators with the appropriate NYS Music certification who can create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Using creative teaching methods, this position inspires students to explore their musical identity in the classroom and on the stage.
