NY Kids Club & NY Preschool is inspiring today’s children to succeed in tomorrow’s world with our love for play—and we’re looking for a DOE 4's Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. Our mission is to instill a lifelong love of learning with an engaging curriculum taught in a safe, dynamic and supportive environment designed to enrich every child throughout their educational journey.

The pay rate for this role is $36,000 per year (prorated based on start date).

• Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to daily protocols.
• Assist in our DOE Pre-K for All preschool class by using the creative curriculum to bring learning to life.
• Provide ongoing support to each student in their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way.
• Engage daily with parents and caregivers, sharing your classroom’s day-to-day activities and developmental milestones.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in a preschool classroom required.
• Self‑starter, highly motivated, dynamic, and a creative team player.
• Excellent communication skills.

The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
