Learning & Development Training Specialist

Overview

Support the implementation and enhancement of learning and development initiatives across the life science vertical, ensuring alignment with established capability goals and organizational performance needs. Support training for technical, industry and mandatory training programs.

Training Execution & Delivery
  • Assist in the development and rollout of engaging learning experiences using various modalities, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT (VILT), e-learning, microlearning, and blended learning formats.
  • Design and develop educational content such as training guides and engaging presentations.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling of training programs to ensure efficient and consistent learner experiences.
  • Provide support in maintaining content within the Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading materials, tracking compliance, generating reports, and assisting with learning analytics.
Learning Needs Support & Alignment
  • Collaborate with L&D partners and business teams to gather input on training needs and help conduct basic needs assessments.
  • Translate team and department-level learning requests into practical learning solutions in alignment with broader development goals.
  • Assist in the vetting and onboarding of third-party learning providers and content, ensuring quality and alignment with program needs.
Measurement & Improvement
  • Support data collection and reporting to help evaluate training effectiveness using defined KPIs and feedback tools.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying learner feedback trends and suggesting refinements to content and delivery methods.
Key Responsibilities Learning & Development Programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring high-quality and engaging delivery.
  • Design, develop and maintain a range of learning solutions, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), e-learning modules, job aids, learning journeys, and blended learning programs.
  • Maintain Learning Management System (LMS) for the Life Science and Industry Training content, including course scheduling, record keeping, and reporting.
Needs Assessment and Strategy
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments in collaboration with the Director and department leaders to identify critical skill gaps and learning opportunities within the relevant teams.
  • Align learning initiatives with the strategic goals of the Life Science and Industry Training department and overall Medidata/Dassault Systèmes business objectives.
  • Research and evaluate external training resources and content to supplement internal offerings.
