Bilingual Spanish/English Special Education Evaluator
Join Achieve Beyond as a Bilingual Spanish/English Special Education Evaluator. Your pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range$131.00/hr – $153.00/hr
LocationPositions throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City

- Team‑building meetings, events, and trainings
- Administer evaluations in home and/or school‑based settings
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and submit them in a timely manner
- Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need
- Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines
- Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists
- NYS Certified Special Educator:
Students with Disabilities (Birth‑2) or Permanent Special Education certificate - Bilingual Spanish a must; bilingual extension necessary for provision of services in our preschool program
- Experience administering the DAYC‑2 and HELP
- Experience evaluating children birth‑to‑five years old a plus
- EI Evaluations program requires completion of the EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings
- Must be self‑motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to climb and descend staircases
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods
