Location: New York

Salary: $18 - $20/hr

Position Summary: The Children's Aid Parent Engagement Program at SU Campus is a Social Emotional Learning Program. The program offers workshops to adult participants in Social Emotional learning, and the opportunity to engage in an array of art-based activities.

Essential Duties
  • Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for facilitating and caring for a group of adult participants.
  • Develop classroom and behavioral management skills.
  • Implement professionally developed art-based curriculum and develop relationships with their participants.
  • Teach, supervise, and organize their teaching plan.
  • Assist with the design and lead the implementation of special projects in and out of the program.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and returned.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, trainings, and work cooperatively with other staff members in the program and schools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience working with adult participants.
  • Field of study in Arts.
  • Available from September - June.

  • Enjoy being around adults of all ages as well as respectful.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, and have a positive attitude to provide encouragement to the participants.
