Sunshine Learning Center is a leading full day early-childhood education program educating children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We provide high quality care and education, shaping our early learners while building strong ties with parents and communities. The Sunshine Learning Center has locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx.

We are currently hiring enthusiastic Assistant Teachers, looking to use their experience and training to develop children's lives.

Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000

• Maintain an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child
• Encourage parental involvement in the program
• Demonstrate familiarity with the Creative Curriculum
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
• Provide stimulating activities to support children’s emotional, intellectual and social development
• Assist in the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate daily activities
• Conduct daily safety inspection of the classroom
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers and co-workers
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and staff trainings
• Communicate effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children
