Your role at Dash0As Event Marketing Manager, you’ll design and execute Dash0’s events strategy end-to-end - from planning to flawless delivery to measurable pipeline impact. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Leadership to raise Dash0’s visibility across the most relevant developer, cloud, and observability stages, while strengthening our growing Open Telemetry community.
You’ll own the full spectrum of event formats, including:
Meetups & community events (CNCF/Open Telemetry meetups, Dev Ops Days )
Conferences & trade shows (e.g., Kube Con, We Are Developers )
Cloud partner events (e.g., AWS Summits & Pop-Ups across US cities)
Owned experiences (executive round tables, customer panels, hands‑on workshops, webinars)
Event strategy & calendar: Identify, tier, and prioritize US events by audience, reach, cost, and pipeline potential
End-to-end execution: Manage sponsor ships, booths, logistics, vendors, branding, shipping, swag - on time and on budget
Content & programming: Coordinate compelling talks, demos, and workshops with SEs/PMs
Lead engine: Design capture flows (badge scans, QR codes, forms), ensure clean CRM handoff, and enable fast SDR/AE follow-up
Campaign orchestration: Drive pre-event promotion (outbound, social, email), on‑site engagement (demos, meetings), and post‑event nurture campaigns, write event enablement for Sales follow up
Budget & negotiation: Own budgets, track ROI, manage vendors, and negotiate sponsor ships effectively
Brand & community: Support strengthening Dash0’s presence in the Open Telemetry community (meetups, ambassadors) and ensure consistent brand execution
Compliance: Ensure all activities meet GDPR, legal, and security requirements
2–3+ years in event marketing / planning
Experience managing multiple large‑scale events in parallel
Comfortable working with technical content
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
—organized, detail‑driven, hands‑on, fastFluent English (written and spoken)
Existing relationships in the CNCF/AWS ecosystem and with US event organizers
Familiarity with Open Telemetry and large‑scale observability challenges
Experience in high‑growth startups
