Overview
Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn. We are looking for teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students all over New York.
Responsibilities- Provide in-person tutoring in New York or conduct remote sessions as available to students
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans and adapt instruction based on student needs
- Engage students with interactive and inquiry-based lessons
- Collaborate with families and, when applicable, school personnel to support student learning
- Special Education experience; accommodations and working with students with learning disabilities highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to make learning fun and interactive; focus typically guided by student questions and comments
- Special Education Teacher Services (SETSS) Certification required
- Ability to pass a background check if required
- Flexible schedule
- Set your own hourly rate and choose which tutoring jobs to accept based on availability
