STEM and Technology Summer Camp Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Summer programs. The position is seasonal (4-10 weeks) starting in June and involves teaching in-room classrooms with children aged 6-11 or 8-14.

Minimum 4 weeks, Monday through Friday. Must be available to start online training in May before the summer begins.

Position is located within driving distance of one of our partner regions, requiring reliable transportation.

PAID training provided. Training is delivered online via our portal.

• Must be located within driving distance of a partner region with reliable transportation.
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong technology skills are preferred (e.g., 3D modeling, coding, game creation, animation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States. We cannot offer accommodations or work sponsorship.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday.
• Must love working with kids.

• 21 years of age or older.
• College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal.
• Graduating college seniors with student teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.).
• Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and up to 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting.
• Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes.

• Rate: $21-$26 per hour depending on experience, location, and availability.
