Associate/Full Professor, Clean Energy & Carbon Neutrality, Chemical & Biological Engineering
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites applications for a senior faculty position in the broad area of clean energy and carbon neutrality. The ideal candidate will be an established scholar whose work complements the department’s existing strengths in energy harvesting and storage; carbon dioxide capture and utilization; and hydrogen production, storage, transport, and utilization.
Exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level will be considered. The successful candidate should expect to participate in and, when appropriate, lead large multi-investigator proposals and projects that engage faculty members within and beyond the department.
- Maintain an active externally-funded research program.
- Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Advise students at all levels.
- Collaborate within and beyond the department.
- Participate in large multi-investigator projects, leading them when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
Outstanding track record of accomplishments in teaching, research, and service consistent with appointment at the level of tenured faculty member.
