Full‑time Faculty, supervised by the Program Director and Academic/ Clinical Coordinator, manages and evaluates the PA Program’s academic and clinical components.
Responsibilities- Participate in admissions, including application review, interviews, and serving on the admissions committee.
- Contribute to the development, review, and revision of the mission statement, goals, and competencies of the program.
- Involve in scholarly activities such as professional organization membership and research.
- Provide remedial instruction and support recruitment efforts.
- Assist the Academic/ Clinical Coordinator with accreditation, coordinating efforts to meet ARC‑PA standards and maintain NYS SED registration.
- Teach first‑year, second and culminating‑year students in Physical Diagnosis Lab, Correlative Medicine/Clinical Skills, Procedures, and lecture in areas of expertise.
- Advise first‑year, second and culminating‑year students; serve as Master’s capstone advisor, reviewing and grading Master’s projects.
- Create and review academic and clinical exams; review curriculum content for appropriateness to PA practice; monitor evaluation of learning objectives.
- Participate on committees as requested by the Program Director/Program Chairs; support reaccreditation and program evaluation activities.
Masters Degree and Bachelor of Science from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; higher educational experience preferred.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree and Bachelor of Science from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Higher educational experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with high urgency or sensitivity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems such as Canvas and Blackboard.
- Ability to deliver online course content.
- NCCPA Board Certified.
- Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Position is on campus; may require travel for clinical site assessments, conferences, and seminars.
Maximum Salary: USD per year.
Minimum Salary: USD 95,226.00 per year.
