Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and reliable Teaching Artistto join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to working with young people and a deep understanding of the crucial role educators play in their development. As a Teaching Artist, you will create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments that prioritize accessibility, collaboration, and high-quality arts experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with educators and staff to design and deliver arts-based programming.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and exploration.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational goals and artistic standards.
- Engage with students in meaningful ways, promoting their growth both artistically and personally.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and respectful manner, adhering to organizational policies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years’ experience working with students in an arts and education environment.
- Experience in musical theatre, dance, arts and crafts, or related disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with young people.
- Ability toworkeffectively as part of a team and independently.
- Must pass a background check or be fingerprinted with the Department of Education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual artists and individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
